REFUSE TO LIVE IN FEAR

In this lesson, the primary focus is on fear. Fear is one of the most fundamental challenges every human being faces in life, manifesting from the earliest moments of life as a protective mechanism. However, while fear alerts us to danger, it can also be a significant obstacle, preventing us from achieving our full potential. The Bible teaches us that God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). This means that as believers, we are equipped to face and conquer our fears, knowing that fear is not from God, and with the power of the Holy Spirit, we can overcome it.

When we step out to do something new, especially for God, fear often arises, accompanied by negative circumstances designed to discourage us. The enemy uses fear to prevent us from moving forward, but the Bible assures us that God is always with us, strengthening and helping us through every challenge (Isaiah 41:10). Like a mother eagle who pushes her eaglets out of the nest to teach them to fly, God sometimes allows us to face difficulties so that we can grow stronger and learn to trust Him more. These challenges are opportunities for us to develop courage and overcome the fears that hold us back.

As we continue to walk with God, we become less affected by fear and more resilient in the face of challenges. God allows difficulties in our lives not to harm us but to reveal areas that need strengthening and to help us grow. In these moments, we should thank God for showing us our fears, as they present opportunities for growth. Through perseverance and faith, we can overcome any obstacle, knowing that all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
