Truth and Life Communications (TLC) is an independent, nonprofit media organization dedicated to informing the public about the teachings of the word of God and various life-related matters. Through its subsidiary, Truth and Life Radio (TLR), TLC engages with millions of listeners daily in Nigeria, Africa, and globally through online platforms and on-air broadcasts. TLR covers a wide spectrum of topics, including the word of God from the Bible, news, ideas, relationships, technology, politics, parenting, finance, and more.
Our inspiration is derived from 2 Peter 1:3, which emphasizes that "His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence." Through a robust network and partnerships with similar stations and churches, TLR strives to make the experience of life and living personal and enriching.

We are steadfast in achieving this goal through thorough investigation, meaningful discussions, meticulous reporting, production, acquisition, and distribution of The Truth. Our commitment extends to aligning with the word of God and upholding the highest standards of public service in both journalism and cultural expression.
This is not a church, and all listening experience is not meant to be a worship experience. Although we firmly believe in a cappella singing during worship as stated in the Bible, you will often hear inspiring songs and music that are instrumental or accompanied by instruments. We find this appropriate and not a violation of scripture because, as we stated, it is not intended for worship purposes when played.

However, our ultimate allegiance lies with God and the truths outlined in the scriptures. To ensure the public's trust, it is crucial to make it explicitly clear that any personal or professional interests or opinions conflicting with these foundational principles do not reflect the stance of the church or any political or religious party. Our commitment is unwavering in prioritizing the divine truth and maintaining alignment with the values and teachings derived from the scriptures.
Independence
We uphold a vigilant commitment to transparency by promptly disclosing to our sponsoring church, additional sponsors, supervisors, and the public any situations where our reporting might be influenced by personal, subjective, or divided perspectives. This transparency extends to considerations involving the interests of spouses and other family members. When deemed necessary, we take the responsible step of recusing ourselves from related reporting.
Under no circumstances do we compromise the integrity of our reports for personal gain, to benefit TLR's financial standing, or to cater to the preferences of our funders. Our decisions regarding the subjects we cover and the methods we employ are exclusively made by our dedicated team, independent of external financial support. This unwavering commitment ensures the credibility and impartiality of our reporting.
