THOU ART LUKEWARM

The church in Laodicea was lukewarm, something that God was not pleased with. There was a prophecy that many would become lukewarm, and unlike Smyrna and Philadelphia, Laodicea was condemned because they had become indifferent to the things of God. The economic, social, and political realities of today have led many to this same state of lukewarmness—a dangerous indifference towards spiritual matters. This is not what God desires, and He is not happy about it.

If God were to write a personal letter to us, what would He say? Would He be pleased with the state of our hearts and our commitment to Him? It is a sobering thought that should prompt deep reflection.

We must not allow ourselves to become lukewarm. Instead, let us renew our passion and dedication to the things of God, ensuring that we are neither cold nor indifferent to His call in our lives.
